This course introduces the study of statistics from descriptive statistics through regression analysis, sampling, correlation, and analysis of variance. Topics are investigated as they apply to real world data. Computers and calculators are used extensively. Prerequisite: M 095, ACT score 20-22 or higher, or university placement exam. Formerly MATH 116.

Introduction to probability distributions including fundamental principles of descriptive statistics, statistical inference, correlation, regression analysis, and analysis of variance. Prerequisite: M 121. Formerly MATH 140.
